We have three columns for entering info. Select Manufacturer pull down, Enter Keyword, and Part Number

The first one is a manufacturer. If you know the 3 digit Manufacturer code, you do not need to select the manufacturer. Putting the 3 digit Manufacturer code in the part number field does the same thing as selecting a manufacturer on the left. You can find the 3 digit Manufacturer codes just by looking at the pull down menu in the Select Manufacturer spot. For example, Du-bro starts with DUB. I could then Select Du-Bro and type in a simple keyword, or type in a part number directly.

Since Dubro is DUB, so just type it in along with the part number in the 3rd column. Make sure you delete the info in the enter keyword field or it will not show up unless that keyword is also in the description. (Enter Keyword can stay or it can be blank)

See the place I put the DUB137? That gives me just one result in the search results.
If you know your part numbers, just type them in there for direct access to your part. Leave the Enter Keyword alone.
If you were to just type in 137 without the DUB in front of it, then you would get every manufacturer with 137 in their part number.
If you put "collar" in the keyword spot and "137" in the part number spot, you happen to just get the one result from DuBro.
This is because no other manufacturer has both a part number of 137 and the keyword collar in their description.
Finally, if you put collar in the keyword spot and just DUB in the part number, you end up with 12 results. (All Dubro parts with collar in the description) This would give you the same result as Selecting Dubro on the pull down list and typing collar but leaving the part number blank.

Now, if I were to type in a different part number, I need to remember to delete the word collar since our site leaves it in there from the previous search.
The most important thing to remember about using the Enter Keyword field, is to try and use one word only. This is because it looks for an exact match. The site will look at longer words that are an exact part of a shorter word. For example, if you just type in Revo, you will also get revolution, revolver. If you type in Revo, and also select Traxxas (or type in TRA), you get Traxxas Revo Parts.
